JOB TITLE: Substitute Bus Drivers
$ 9.45 per hour (w/o CDL)
Minimum Education - High school diploma or GED
- Minimum experience – Two (2) years driving experience with clean driving record
- Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and maintain state minimum amount of automobile liability insurance
- Must hold a Commercial Driver’s License with school bus endorsement, or obtain such within 90 days of employment
- Ability to meet bus driver requirements according to day care licensing regulations and federal, State, and Local law including but not limited to the following: clear background checks, driver recertification, training, and clean driving record
- Ability to pass Bus Driver medical exam initially and ongoing as required; negative pre-employment drug test and random drug/alcohol testing thereafter
- Ability to manage and understand needs of preschool children
- Must be sensitive to the needs of low-income individuals and able to work with individuals of all cultural backgrounds and ages
