Floating Caseworker

HHWP Community Action Commission, a local non-profit, is looking for a full-time Caseworker within our Community Services department that can float and assist at all of our four county locations.

The ideal candidate will assist low-income, economically, disadvantaged residents, children, and families in the four-county area through emergency and financial stability programs; Conduct needs assessment surveys by interviewing customers throughout the four-county region, as directed; maintain accurate and complete files on all customers and services provided.

The wage starts at $15.38-20.00/hour depending on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements and Application Process

Overall RequirementMust be sensitive to the needs of low-income individuals and able to work with individuals of all cultural backgrounds and ages. Must adhere to the values of the HHWP CAC including Advocacy, Professionalism, and Partnership. Must be committed to the Agency’s mission to reduce the conditions of poverty by providing comprehensive services to improve lives.

Minimum Education: Associate Degree in Social Work, Community/Human Services- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Minimum Experience: One (1) year experience in social services or a related field.
