Early Head Start

Early Head Start is an income based, free, family focused infant – toddler program. We accept children ages birth – three years old.

Early Head Start  provides comprehensive health, educational, and nutritional services to infants and toddlers in a classroom setting

Family Support Specialists work with families to develop and achieve family goals, while teachers provide school readiness skills such as language development, math & science activities, and creative arts.

Head Start thrives on parent involvement. Whether it is volunteering in the classroom, attending parent group, or participating in Policy Council, volunteering helps strengthen your relationship with your child as well as contribute to your child's overall development.

Early Head Start operates year-round, offering full-day care Monday – Friday.

Though eligibility for the Head Start program is in part determined by income, everyone is encouraged to apply! No child will be excluded because of race, religion, gender, national origin or special needs conditions.
